In this fourth episode of our webseries, the Transatlantic Liners’ Terminal tells the story of its rebirth after the war. It was inaugurated again in 1952 and welcomed many stars from America travelling aboard the most prestigious transatlantic liners… that was before it was abandoned again.

The Art Deco “grande dame” blew out its 90th candle this year, on Sunday, July 30. In this latest installment, the station relates how it was saved by the ambitious project La Cité de la Mer. 30 years of stories, from its rescue in 1989, to the title of France’s Favorite Monument won in September 2022.
